I'll curl my words like ivy
—craft and graft—
crawl through the cracks of my attic walls
and fall into significance outside
myself.

If I am the sum of all my parts,
then let my whole extend into the sun
—and burn.

I've learned
that there will be hell to pay
for pride.
Reflections on the bus.

Hey, you got a DD?

Why didn't you say something about it? Congrats :3

Yeah! Thank you! Well...lol. To be honest I have no idea how to make a journal thing on here or anything vaguely more complex than submitting and commenting.

I love the title a lot, and the poem itself is really simple and and almost bitterly pretty.

Interesting, i like how you make metaphors out in each stanza, and i can agree the line breaks probably were a bit crazy and uncontrolled (only problem i have, i not a fan of all these line breaks when writing poetry, you know what i mean...i say keep to the structure for poems, not some crazy shapes which make it impossible to read...enough of my rambling.) Really nice poem Ihedge, really well done, more please.

Thank you very much! It's all very emotional for me, the line breaks.
